AltaDB improves scan loading time on RedBrick AI by anywhere from 5-10x. The integration between RedBrick AI and AltaDB is covered in this document.

Create an API Key on AltaDB

You can follow along with the Getting Started guide to create your first Dataset. After that, create an API key and note down the access key and secret key.

Create an AltaDB Storage Method on RedBrick AI.

In your RedBrick AI account, create an AltaDB Storage Method. You will need your AltaDB Access and Secret keys.

Prepare the AltaDB JSON for RedBrick AI

Please bear in mind that there are several Task and Series keys that must be added to your JSON if you'd like them to be present in RedBrick alongside the images stored in AltaDB, including:

Once your JSON is prepared for your RedBrick Project or Workspace, you can proceed to upload.

Import your AltaDB data in a RedBrick AI project.

In a RedBrick AI project, upload the JSON file you downloaded from AltaDB and use your AltaDB Storage Method.

Your tasks uploaded with AltaDB should load 5-10x faster on RedBrick AI.

This guide presumes that you have already exported the required JSON as explained in the section of our guide.
